Colorado Springs Real EstateShopping in Colorado Springs...Most of the major national retailers and franchise chains are represented in the area. Downtown Colorado Springs offers boutiques specializing in women's, men's and children's clothes, outdoor recreation stores, mountain furniture stores, jewelry stores and more. There majority of the retailers and restaurants are in the Cascade and Pikes Peak Avenue intersection anchored by the Antlers Adams Mark Hotel. Old Colorado City is a rustic area located in heart of the West Side. Shops run along West Colorado Avenue between 24th and 27th Streets. This National Historic District has a mix of restaurants, galleries and specialty shops. Territory Days, a local festival, is an exciting celebration in the district over Memorial Day weekend. The two large malls in Colorado Springs are the Citadel at the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Platte Avenue (Hwy. 24), and Chapel Hills at North Academy Boulevard and Briargate Boulevard. Other smaller centers are located throughout the city. The anchors at these malls include Dillards, Foley's and Mervyn's. Castle Rock is only 45 miles north of Colorado Springs. This area is home to numerous outlet stores including Coach, Gap and Levi's. If you continue into southern Denver, Park Meadows, a newer mall anchors Nordstroms, Dillards and much more. In the heart of Denver is the Cherry Creek mall. This is upscale shopping at it's best with Cartier, Tiffany's, Saks, Lord and Taylor and many national known stores. | ||||||||||||||
