Colorado Springs Real EstateEastSchool District 11 subdivisions include: Norwood, The Park at Templeton Heights, Cimarron Hills, Constitution Hills, Parkmoor, Rustic Hills, Claremont Ranch, Falcon Estates, Palmer Park, Knob Hills, Austin Estates, Prospect Park, and Village Seven, Villa Loma Vista Grande and Old Farm. Falcon and Woodmen Hills are in school district 49 and Peyton and Calhan are in either school district 23, 49, or RH-1. Elevation is 6,400
feet. The east is cooler
and breezier than the central city. Homes in the east range from established communities
developed in the 1980’s to newer homes. The East Side is conveniently
located between the city's two largest shopping malls, the Sky Sox
Baseball Stadium, two golf courses, plus several sport fields that
provide recreation in this area. Peterson AFB provides nearby facilities
for military families. Thousands of acres have been developed over the
past two decades. The Powers Boulevard Corridor extends from Peterson
Air Force Base and the municipal airport on the south to Black Forest on
the north. Well beyond the city limits, about five miles farther east,
are the small towns of Peyton and Falcon perfect for people who prefer
living in small communities where the cost of land is lower and the
country environment dominates. | ||||||||||||||
